#2 No hardcore matches
Dean Ambrose made a name for himself before WWE in the indie scene, wrestling under the ring name Jon Moxley in promotions like Dragon Gate USA and Combat Zone Wrestling.

Combat Zone Wrestling was known for their bloody and brutal deathmatches which Ambrose was a part of on a few occasions, while also being a two-time CZW World Heavyweight Champion.
If one of his reasons to quit WWE was him becoming distant with the PG-friendly wrestling that is on offer on WWE, Ambrose would make a big mistake of joining AEW. AEW's potential TV deal will scupper any hopes of them offering a product like ECW or the hardcore matches that WWE had before the PG era.
Ambrose would be better off returning to the indie scene, where he will have a lot of freedom to be involved in the kind of matches that he likes, with plenty of pro wrestling promotions currently running in the US.
