#3 He will be part of a brand new product

There was something that Billy Gunn mentioned in his interview with Whatculture which does resonate quite a bit with everyone right now. WWE is dishing out a stale product and fans just don't want to tune into it anymore.
What AEW is doing, is providing these fans with an alternative product that is fresh, written better, gives the immensely talented wrestlers a portal to express themselves and moreover, is not following the same old routine. WWE is acting like a sinking ship right now and seems to have no answers whatsoever to AEW in terms of quality.
AEW, on the other hand, is showing the potential of at least making great strides in the first year or so. Jon gets a chance to ride that wave and grow in stature among the wrestling fraternity while doing that.
