#1 The rock and Daniel Bryan endorsements
Prior to Reigns' first match with Brock Lesnar back in 2015, WWE tried to get the ex-Shield member over by having two of their most popular superstars of all-time endorse him.

The first endorsement came back at the Royal Rumble in January of 2015, where The Rock returned to raise the hand of Reigns, who had just won the company's annual 30-man match. However, it didn't go over well, as the fans then booed The Rock for endorsing Reigns.

The second endorsement came from Daniel Bryan, and much like with The Rock, the fans booed Bryan, which pretty much tells you that there's literally nothing WWE can do to get Reigns over with the fans, aside from letting him have a heel run.
To sum it up, if the WWE fans are willing to boo The Rock and Daniel Bryan for endorsing Roman Reigns, then they're also willing to boo Reigns, no matter what.
