Royal Rumble 2019 was a huge step forward for the women's division. The PPV kicked off with Asuka defeating Becky Lynch in an instant classic. While it seemed their match would be a tough act to follow, Ronda Rousey and Sasha Banks produced another masterpiece for fans to remember.

With these two matches, they outshone their male counterparts, as both the Universal Championship and WWE Championship matches came short of what people expected.

The women's Royal Rumble didn't disappoint as well, because we witnessed one of the most thrilling Royal Rumble matches ever. From Naomi and Kacy Catanzaro's amazing athleticism to avoid elimination, to Becky Lynch's victory, the women's Royal Rumble lived up to the hype.

A little praise for Nia Jax as well, as she stood toe to toe with male superstars, and her willingness to take those bumps definitely earned the respect of many fans.
