Although The Bloodline has undergone a major lineup and leadership change in the past few months, one thing that remains the same is the involvement of major WWE Samoans in the group. However, there are still a few current Samoan stars who are not involved with the faction on-screen.
The Bloodline was formed in 2021 and initially composed of Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Paul Heyman. The group later added Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa. Now, the current lineup of the stable is led by The Street Champion, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. Aside from Heyman and Zayn, it's notable that the majority of the group members are part of the Anoa'i family. The Tongans, on the other hand, have close ties with the wrestling dynasty. While it seems like all Samoans in WWE are part of or involved with the group, that's not the case.
For this list, we will look at four Samoan WWE stars who have nothing to do with The Bloodline.
#4. Nia Jax talked about possibly joining The Bloodline in the WWE
Speaking of the Anoa'i family, Nia Jax is also part of the wrestling dynasty. Her father, Joseph Fanene, is the first cousin of Peter Maivia, The Rock's grandfather. Despite this connection, she is not involved with The Bloodline on-screen.
Although Nia would have several interactions with The Bloodline off-screen and would talk about the faction in interviews, the current WWE Women's Champion shared that there are no current plans for her to get involved with the group. However, she wouldn't mind joining if the opportunity arises.
#3. Tamina Snuka debuted with The Usos
Another Anoa'i member who is not part of The Bloodline is Tamina Snuka. She is the daughter of Jimmy Snuka, who was married to Sharon Georgi, the daughter of a Samoan chief who was blood brothers with Peter Maivia.
Tamina debuted in 2010 with Jimmy and Jey Uso but branched out from them in August to pair up with Santino Marella before eventually going on a solo run. Jimmy and Jey found success as multi-time Tag Team Champions, but Snuka's career unfortunately didn't take off.
Her last WWE match was in February 2023, and reports have circulated that she has since quietly retired. The latest rumors about her status state that WWE has no creative plans for her and she is no longer listed on any roster.
#2. Dakota Kai is of Samoan descent
Many may already know Dakota Kai was born in Auckland, New Zealand, but might not be aware that she is of Irish and Samoan descent. The Damage CTRL member's mother is from the Samoan village of Lepea on the island of Upolo, while her father is Pat Crowley.
Although not connected with the Anoa'i family, Kai is treated as if she is one of them by none other than Tamina. At WrestleMania 39, backstage footage showed Snuka giving Kai and Jey Uso their leis before their matches.
#1. WWE RAW star Bronson Reed
Another superstar that fans may not realize is of Samoan descent is Bronson Reed. He was born in Adelaide, Australia. Little is known about his personal life, much like his parents. However, it has been rumored that his parents are of Samoan-Australian identity.
Reed joined WWE in 2019 but in 2021, hinted that he was interested in joining The Bloodline with Roman Reigns, but both parties haven't crossed paths yet. Interestingly, that status may change soon.
