After delivering a pretty enjoyable Monday Night Raw, WWE will be diverting their attention towards the much-anticipated edition of SmackDown Live.
Live from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, a significant amount of spotlight will be thrown upon Roman Reigns and his apparent animosity with Vince McMahon.
With Vinnie Mac wanting to ascend Roman's credibility as a babyface on the blue brand, The Big Dog could be facing some serious repercussions tonight.
The WWE Universe will also see The New Day's Kofi Kingston go one-on-one with The King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Furthermore, Becky Lynch will be returning to the blue brand to possibly revive her extremely intriguing feud with Charlotte as they go head-to-head for the very first time since WrestleMania 35.
Since Monday Night Raw was a night full of twists and turns, will Vince McMahon do something special with SmackDown Live tonight? Let's find out.
#1 Charlotte Flair shockingly wins the SmackDown Women's Championship
As much as I love Becky Lynch, the idea of not unifying the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships does not sit well with most in the WWE Universe.
While I do not want to encourage Vince McMahon's billion dollar company to give the gold to Charlotte Flair, but it has happened before and it could happen again.
With the company moving ahead with two women's divisions, the blue brand needs someone like The Queen who could take center-stage and lead the division from the front.
"The Man" is currently involved in a feud with Lacey Evans for the Raw Women's Championship and a shocking victory here for Charlotte could prove beneficial in bringing nuclear heat back on her.
WWE definitely needs to be more creative tonight in order to bring legitimate sympathy for Becky Lynch whilst ascending the stature of Charlotte as a mega-heel.
#2 Shane McMahon ambushes Roman Reigns after Vince McMahon suspends him
It's undeniable that Roman Reigns is extremely talented between the ropes, but the company has not been clinical enough in presenting him as a top babyface.
The Superstar Shake-Up coerced The Big Dog to emerge in the main event of the blue brand last week as he punched Vince McMahon to sleep in front of an exciting crowd.
While plans in WWE are always subject to change, last week's altercation only suggests that The Roman Empire will have to face some serious repercussions tonight.
With Shane McMahon proving his mettle as a legitimate heel on the main roster, he could really prove influential if the plan is to propel Roman's credibility as a babyface.
A feud between the two could be engaging and since the company wants to throw the spotlight on The Big Dog, I definitely see Shane O'Mac joining his father and stunning the audience by suspending him.
#3 Mustafa Ali's brave mettle falls down to Lars Sullivan in intense showdown
With WWE wanting to present Lars Sullivan as an absolute havoc on the main roster, a match tonight with an underdog like Mustafa Ali could be intelligently creative.
Ali has been trying to prove his mettle on the blue brand but did lose some of his momentum after being shelved with an unfortunate injury during WrestleMania season.
Considering that Sullivan is making gigantic statements every single week since he debuted on the main roster, standing up against an evil force like him could give some much-needed momentum to Ali.
Although the former 205 Live Superstar did fail to outshine Finn Balor last week in a high-stakes encounter, he gravitated the right amount of adulation from legions in the WWE Universe.
An engaging encounter between the two could prove beneficial for both with Ali putting it all on the line against a force to be reckoned with, in The Freak, Lars Sullivan.
#4 Kevin Owens teases turning heel on The New Day
Kevin Owens is undoubtedly one of the greatest heels in the game today and while we have bought into his new alliance with The New Day, something tells me that he will turn on them eventually.
If history is any indication, then Owens has never been the type of guy who would go out of his way to assist his friends in keeping a title that he has never had the chance to hold.
With Money in the Bank just around the corner, I definitely see Owens teasing a blockbuster heel turn tonight before eventually clearing his intentions.
A turn of this magnitude could prove beneficial for Kofi Kingston as a transitional WWE Champion and would give Owens the right amount of heat as he moves ahead in the summer.
Since 'The New' Daniel Bryan is sidelined with an unfortunate injury, the creative team needs to push Owens to the very top of the industry as a mega-heel.
