Fastlane was an impressive show last week, and it had some top-notch bouts. Since WrestleMania is less than one month away, the storylines for the biggest pay-per-view of the year are developing gradually. With three weeks left for the Show of Shows in New Jersey, the last three RAW and Smackdown episodes are anticipated to be mind-boggling.

The last Smackdown Live episode was undeniably one of the best episodes in recent memory. WWE is leaving no stone unturned to provide an excellent match card for the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Shane McMahon announced his match with former tag team partner The Miz in New Jersey, while AJ Styles and Randy Orton had an intense segment last week and they will collide at the Showcase of Immortals.

However, the appalling moment of the last week was when Vince McMahon stated that Kofi Kingston needs to pin five other WWE superstars in a Gauntlet match to get a title shot at WrestleMania 35.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Following the imposing show last week, Vince McMahon's billion dollar company will be aiming to continue the good run. Smackdown Live is set to take place at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis this week, and it is expected to be a great show.

WWE already announced that the Miz will respond to Shane McMahon's challenge on Smackdown Live while Kofi Kingston is set to fight in a Gauntlet match which is likely to be the main event of the night.

Here we discuss four shockers that could happen on Smackdown Live this week (19 March 2019).

#4 Boss N Hug Connection might appear on Smackdown Live

The Women's Tag Team Champions

The first ever Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley are enjoying a fruitful run. The Boss N Hug Connection assured they would defend the twin belts in any brand. Though the two women are part of the red brand, they appeared on NXT, and they could show up on Smackdown Live next week.

Sasha and Bayley defended the Women's Tag Team Titles at Fastlane where they defeated the team of Nia Jax and Tamina. In fact, they also had a brawl backstage on RAW, but Nia and Tamina are not likely to get a rematch at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

With the new team of Natalya and Beth Phoenix, they are in line to be the next challengers. But the IIconics are already an established tag team, and they have been together from NXT. The IIconics called out Sasha and Bayley on Smackdown Live last week. Hence, Boss N Hug Connection might answer them by appearing on Smackdown Live

#3 A triple threat match between Andrade, Rey Mysterio, and R-Truth

The US Champion Samoa Joe is scheduled to face Kofi Kingston in the Gauntlet match next week. Joe won the title before Fastlane, and he put the title on the line at Fastlane. The current US Champion defeated Andrade, Rey Mysterio, and R-Truth to retain the belt in Cleveland. The match was undoubtedly one of the best matches of Fastlane.

Since Joe will be busy in the Gauntlet match on Smackdown Live, the other three contenders could be fighting in a triple threat match. WrestleMania 35 is just three weeks, and Joe's opponent could be decided on Smackdown Live next week.

Andrade, Rey Mysterio, and R-Truth could be tussling next week, and the winner of the triple threat match could be the number contender for Samoa Joe at the Showcase of Immortals. Either Andrade or Rey Mysterio could be an ideal opponent for Joe in New Jersey

#2 AJ Styles could cost Randy Orton the Gauntlet Match

The Viper and the Phenomenal One

It is no secret that AJ Styles and Randy Orton will face each other at the Grandest Stage of Them All. The fans are exhilarated for the bout as the two men are veterans in the squared circle. Though it is a non-title match, it could turn out to be one of the best matches of the Shows of Shows.

There is no denying that the segment between Randy Orton and AJ Styles was one of the best moments of the Smackdown Live last week. Orton refused to agree that Smackdown Live is the house that AJ Styles as the Phenomenal One has been in WWE for only three years.

Orton has been part of Smackdown for a long time, and he claimed he built the blue brand. Moreover, he also made fun of Styles' background in the independent circuit, and it took him years to set foot in the WWE ring. However, Styles made a valiant comeback, and he offered Orton a match at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

With the remarkable build-up of this bout, it is expected to be more interesting in the coming weeks. Kofi Kingston will face Randy Orton in the Gauntlet match next week, and a clean loss could hamper the momentum of the Viper.

Hence, Styles could get involved in the Gauntlet match, and he could help Kingston to pin Orton. With the interference of Styles, the rivalry will become more extraordinary.

#1 Kofi Kingston might achieve the impossible feat

Will he survive the Gauntlet match?
Will he survive the Gauntlet match?

Kofi Kingston has an insurmountable task next week as he needs to beat five other men in a Gauntlet match. Vince McMahon announced that the New Day member might get a title shot at the Show of Shows if he overpowers five other men next week. Kingston will face Erick Rowan, Randy Orton, the Bar and Samoa Joe on Tuesday.

Kofi Kingston has become the latest sensation of the blue brand, and he is a current fan favourite. Considering his popularity, he could manage to win the Gauntlet match. It might sound impossible but WWE is pushing him to headline the Show of Shows next month, and he could be the WrestleMania opponent of the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan.

Since Kofi needs to beat five others, he might get assistance from the other two New Day members. Moreover, he fought in a Gauntlet match last month where he pinned the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan and Samoa Joe before being pinned by AJ Styles.
