4 most successful WWE Superstars in WarGames Matches

On November 30, WWE will present the Survivor Series live from Vancouver, Canada. While the premium live event will feature many interesting matches, the majority of the fans will likely be looking forward to the WarGames Matches the most.

This much-awaited match in the men's category will witness the Roman Reigns-led side face the Solo Sikoa-led group. While, in the women's match, although nothing is set in stone yet it appears that Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Raquel Rodriguez will be on one side, facing the babyface team comprising Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Naomi, and IYO SKY, with each side so far missing a fifth member.

Ahead of the bout, it's worth taking a look at some of the most successful superstars in WarGames history. It's also important to note this article will only look at WWE WarGames history and not take into account NWA/WCW stats. Here is our list of four successful names:

#4. Raquel Rodriguez has been successful at WWE WarGames

In her professional wrestling career, Raquel Rodriguez has competed in a WarGames Match on two occasions. Both these bouts came in successive years as Rodriguez competed in NXT WarGames in 2020 and 2021.

This entire experience was a positive outing for The Judgment Day member as she ended up winning each time. Hence, with a 100 percent win rate, the American is one of the most successful wrestlers when it comes to WarGames matches in WWE.

This is also a reason why she could prove to be a valuable asset in for her team this year at WarGames.

#3. Candice LeRae

Like Raquel Rodriguez, Candice LeRae is another name on the WWE roster who has been extremely successful in WarGames Matches. In her career with the promotion till now, LeRae competed in the gimmick match on two occasions, in 2019 and 2020.

Both these times, LeRae was on the victorious side. As a matter of fact, in 2020, the Women's United States Championship hopeful paired with Rodriguez, who also has two wins in the WarGames match.

Therefore, LeRae and Rodriguez are the top female superstars when it comes to this gimmick match. Although it is not known if the 39-year-old will be part of the match, she arguably seems a viable candidate to participate.

#2. Sami Zayn

At WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, Sami Zayn will be teaming up with Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and a mysterious fifth member to compete against the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline and Bronson Reed. And when it comes to being experienced in these gimmick matches, Zayn is a massive asset to have on the team.

Until now, Zayn has competed in three WarGames matches and has registered two wins. It will be interesting to see if the Candian can break his record, currently held with another WWE Superstar, and make it three wins at Survivor Series this year.

#1. Jey Uso

Crowd favorite Jey Uso has his fair share of experiences when it comes to competing in a WarGames Match. The Yeet Master has been part of the gimmick match on three occasions and won twice, thus having a CV identical to Sami Zayn, in this respect.

Jey will be teaming up with Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, and Jimmy Uso, along with an unknown name to face the Solo-Sikoa-led Bloodline and Reed. It will be interesting to see how Reigns and his men do, given they have experienced candidates like Jey and Sami in their ranks.
