Brock Lesnar has been on a hiatus from WWE for a long time, but his legacy will forever be recalled as one of the most dominating stars in the company. The Beast Incarnate last wrestled in the Stamford-based promotion at SummerSlam 2023, where he suffered a loss against Cody Rhodes in a singles match.
This article will focus on four superstars Lesnar put over and three superstars he buried.
#7. Brock Lesnar buried Kofi Kingston
Brock Lesnar wrestled Kofi Kingston during SmackDown's debut on FOX back in 2019. The match was for the WWE Championship. That year, Kingston won the coveted title after defeating Daniel Bryan, now known as Bryan Danielson, at WrestleMania 35. However, all of that momentum went in vain when the 47-year-old legend defeated him in just a few seconds on SmackDown's debut on FOX.
Many people believe that this incident effectively ended Kofi Kingston's momentum as a singles star, which is why The Beast Incarnate buried The New Day member.
#6. Cain Velasquez is another victim of Lesnar
Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar have a significant history, even outside of WWE, and the Stamford-based promotion tried to capitalize on that heat. Soon after The Beast Incarnate won the WWE Championship by defeating Kofi Kingston, Velasquez arrived in the Stamford-based company to challenge the 47-year-old veteran.
The UFC veteran was accompanied by Rey Mysterio, leading to a match between Cain and Lesnar at Crown Jewel 2019, which many fans marked as disastrous. The match lasted merely two minutes, with Brock defeating Velasquez to retain the title.
This match marked a downturn in the UFC legend's career in WWE, and the reason behind this decline was none other than Brock Lesnar.
#5. Brock Lesnar also buried Braun Strowman
The feud between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman from 2017 to 2018 might be remembered well by fans, especially due to the real punch incident that occurred between the two. However, this rivalry did not add anything positive to The Monster Among Men's run in the Stamford-based promotion and even resulted in the end of his sensational run in WWE.
At No Mercy 2017, Brock and Braun squared off in a singles match for the Universal Championship in which The Beast Incarnate emerged as the winner. They later came face-to-face on multiple occasions, but none of these encounters resulted in Braun Strowman's victory.
Losing against Lesnar ultimately diminished Braun's impact as a wrestler, which is why the 47-year-old buried The Monster Among Men.
#4. & #3. Brock Lesnar has put over Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre
Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre are two stars who were put over by Brock Lesnar during their respective feuds. The Beast Incarnate and Rhodes were engaged in a trilogy of matches last year in which the former only defeated the latter once. The remaining two matches were won by the current Undisputed WWE Champion.
Even during The Beast Incarnate's last match at SummerSlam 2023, Brock not only suffered a loss against Rhodes but also shared a torch-passing moment with him. On the other hand, Drew McIntyre clashed with Brock at WrestleMania 36, where The Scottish Warrior defeated The Beast Incarnate to win the WWE Championship.
Additionally, before this, at Royal Rumble 2020, Drew had the biggest moment of his career when he eliminated the 47-year-old legend, earning a monstrous reaction from the crowd. Ultimately, Brock Lesnar has contributed positively to Drew's WWE career and established him as a main-event star.
#2. & #1. The Beast Incarnate has put over Seth Rollins & Goldberg too
After being away from WWE for several years, Goldberg returned in 2016 and faced Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series that year. However, this return was spotlighted in a momentous way by The Beast Incarnate when the 57-year-old legend defeated the former in under two minutes.
On the other hand, the vendetta between Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar is another instance where the latter put over The Visionary in a big way. Seth and Brock have clashed against each other on multiple occasions, but the majority of victories still belong to Rollins.
Interestingly, Seth has defeated The Beast Incarnate twice to win the WWE Championship. This all proves that Brock Lesnar has put over both Goldberg and Rollins during his rivalries with the two men.
