It wouldn't be a surprise if people have forgotten that these two monsters from NXT are already on the main roster, as they've hardly appeared ever since moving up the ranks. The Authors of Pain is a prime example of how lightly the company takes its Tag Team division as these two are arguably one of the best teams that they have.

Having held the NXT Tag Team Championships apart from winning the Dusty Rhodes Classic Tournament, the WWE Universe was expecting a major push for Akam and Rezar. However, this push never happened and is not on the cards either.

Apart from their monstrous appearance and impressive in-ring skills, it was their manager Paul Ellering who garnered some attention towards the duo. Ellering was the same person who managed the legendary team of Road Warriors.

Due to some reason, Vince McMahon decided to separate him from the team as soon as they moved up to the main roster, and the two haven't been the same without him.

Certainly, it is tough to reason out why the Authors of Pain haven't already won the tag titles on either of the brands. We recently saw the team of Asuka and Kairi Sane getting a manager in the form of Paige, and something along the same lines would be a huge boost for the career paths of the Authors of Pain.
