Former NJPW IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Kushida has been linked with a move to the WWE in the past month or so after his departure from NJPW after a nine-year stint with the Japanese promotion.

The Japanese Superstar is rumoured to have been at WWE's Performance Center in Orlando, recently, which indicates that an announcement of his signing is set to take happen soon.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has also reported recently that Kushida could very well make his debut at NXT TakeOver: New York, which will happen just before WrestleMania 35.
If Kushida does sign with the WWE, he will mostly be added to the NXT roster. The former NJPW Superstar was also a former MMA fighter, with six wins from his eight matches back in the 2000s.
