In former times, Vince McMahon had the job of signing new talents. The boss is now much older and apparently, Triple H has taken over much of his work. The Game is a crucial part of WWE and using his experience, he has signed multiple Superstars who are thriving in Vince McMahon's billion dollar company at the moment.

Over the years, Triple H has also helped former WWE Superstars return to the company again. In this article, we will look at four instances when The Game convinced wrestlers to join WWE.

#4 Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is one of the best heels in the WWE right now. When he joined FCW in 2007, things looked great for the Chosen One. However, when Drew made his way to the main roster, the creative team made him a jobber. Not so long after, WWE released McIntyre due to some budget cuts.

The Scottish Psychopath took it as a motivation and worked harder than before. Independent Circuit also provided him an excellent opportunity to showcase his talent openly to the world. After some years, WWE contacted him again and signed a developmental contract with him.

Drew became one of the most polarizing figures in NXT, and is currently thriving on the main roster. In early 2019, the Chosen One revealed that it was Triple H who saw the potential in him and offered a contract.

Triple H convinced me it was time to come home. I'm proud of the different man I became during my time away. I came back as the grown-up version of myself.

In 2018, Comicbook.com interviewed The Samoan Submission Machine where he revealed how much effort it took for WWE to sign him. Joe also told that he had a dinner with Triple H, after which he finally agreed to join NXT. He also said that the restaurant (featured in his comic book) was actually a lot better in real life.

So, the dinner meeting with Triple H and the phone call, we have a dinner, we had a phone call. In fact, the restaurant might have been actually a little bit nicer than the one that was in the book.

Bobby Lashley left WWE on bad terms in 2008. Reportedly, backstage issues with Michael Hayes led to his departure from the company.

However, The Dominator then worked harder to increase his stock, and his main event push in TNA opened a number of doors for him. In 2018, Lashley's contract with Impact Wrestling expired, after which he returned to the WWE on the Raw after WrestleMania. Although Lashley failed to replicate the success he had in Impact, he did win some championships.

Speaking to the German Suplex Talk, Lashley said this about Triple H:

He knew my run was over. You know when some people leave you can see how some people mature. When [Triple H] saw me he was like, "damn, you look almost better than you did when you were here before. He said there's a tremendous amount of money to be made and we'd love to see you come back.

Before Ronda Rousey joined WWE in 2018, rumors flooded the internet with fans speculating the debut of Rousey at the Royal Rumble. Weeks before her debut, Triple H and Ronda had dinner together which almost confirmed the UFC Superstar's arrival in WWE. However, the former Raw Women’s Champion denied claims of her joining WWE and kept it a secret.

A week later, she finally made her long-awaited debut in WWE after Asuka won Women’s Royal Rumble match. As part of a storyline, Ronda signed a contract with them at Elimination Chamber, where she also began her feud with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. After her debut, the Rowdy One told this to ESPN:

This is my life now. First priority on my timeline for the next several years. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt. When I first met with Triple H, I told him, 'There are other things I can do with my time that'll make way more money, but I won't enjoy nearly as much.'
