#1 Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle is an American hero, which adds a lot more sense to the fact that he has beaten all men that have stood in front of him. Angle had quite the rivalry with Lesnar after Brock beat him at WrestleMania 19.
They ended up having a hour long match on SmackDown in September which Brock won. Before that, though they had a match at Summerslam 2003 where Kurt Angle made Brock Lesnar tap out to the surprise of everyone.
Kurt faced John Cena in Cena's first-ever main roster match on the June 27th, 2002 edition of SmackDown. Cena promised ruthless aggression and put up a good fight against the then heel Angle, who did win the match. The match put Cena on the map and was the reason why a vast majority wanted Kurt's final match at WrestleMania 35 to be against Cena rather than Baron Corbin.
Angle has faced The Undertaker several times, but most of the clashes have ended with screwy finishes. That was also the case when Angle beat Taker by roll-up after a distraction from Triple H on the June 20th edition of SmackDown, a week before his showdown with Cena.
