Given the fact that Roman Reigns not only interrupted him and Vince during the main event of SmackDown Live this Tuesday night but also went on to lay waste to him, Elias has both reason and motive to feature in the faction.
After the long-awaited babyface turn of Elias failed (mainly due to WWE undermining him) WWE has been portraying him as a heel lately. As a matter of fact, Elias with his heel antics and musical performances has been more than successful in getting reactions from the crowd. His recent work with John Cena at WrestleMania 35 and The Undertaker on the following night was hugely appreciated.
Thus, given the heat behind his back, Vince McMahon could name Elias as the captain of the group, assigning him the major task of decimating Roman Reigns.
And once the stable gets over, WWE could use that heat and momentum to launch Elias in the main event scene, something he totally deserves.
