While there is no doubt that both Rusev and Nakamura are one of the most talented superstars on the current WWE roster, they have not been able to live up to that tag in their recent stint on SmackDown Live.
Blame it on their on and off booking or their underwhelming skills on the microphone, the duo has certainly failed to get over among fans as a tag team.
Given the fact that they have become irrelevant on the blue brand and are in dire need of some momentum, their inclusion in a heel stable seems totally possible. The stable could very easily mask their inability to connect with masses on the microphone.
Also, once the stable gets over among fans, WWE could use the momentum behind their backs to give them the desired singles push or even relaunch them as a tag team.
