#4 Jeff Hardy

Too young to be on this list? But what does the future hold for him in WWE?

At 40 years of age, Jeff Hardy might be too young for this list. In an ideal world, he should have at least 2 or 3 more mid-card runs. However, that seems unlikely at this stage. After gauging the run before his unfortunate injury & analyzing possible outcomes once he is back, we don't believe the WWE will be planning on using him as anything more than fodder.

But that’s unfair to someone who is one of the most charismatic Superstars in the history of WWE whenever the booking was good. Fans love his daredevil attitude in the ring & he has also been a part of some absolute classics in the past. His matches with The Undertaker & Rob Van Dam were received really well & as a part of The Hardy Boyz, he along with Matt absolutely killed it.

How?

This might be a long-shot, but I believe that AJ Styles should be the one to retire Jeff Hardy. Imagine this. Matt is already awoken. So, unless Jeff Hardy was to be booked into the Awoken Universe, he has no business staying at WWE Raw.

He could float around in the brand for a year or so and then, he could make a move to SmackDown Live & answer an Open Challenge by AJ Styles. This match can be interrupted by someone, thereby ending up in a no contest.

This will help build the programme for the next month or so. AJ Styles could manipulate Jeff Hardy into putting his career on the line for one last title challenge and there, the story is set. It will be great drama with the 'Awoken' Matt Hardy crossing brands to address his brother, trying to convince him to opt out of the match and so on.

However we might go about it, Jeff Hardy vs AJ Styles will definitely deliver. Inside the ring & out of it! It doesn’t matter who wins, the WWE Universe definitely will! All of this considering Jeff wants to end his career right now on a high. No puns intended.
