But that changed earlier this year, when she shocked everyone and turned heel, showing a different side of her. This edginess to her character was much-needed as it was becoming stale and she was someone who was never going to be taken seriously.
Her heel turn has breathed new life to her character and there is a possibility of her character evolving into something similar to Becky Lynch's character on RAW and WWE presently. She could be the hero to fans - especially the young fans, but also be someone who won't be walked over by other Superstars.
She's a very good in-ring performer, is marketable, and can be a great brand ambassador for the company. What's more, she's a product of WWE's system, having honed her craft on NXT before garnering the love of fans on both RAW and SmackDown.
