If Strowman will be left out of Royal Rumble PPV, Lesnar will need a new challenger to defend his title against

If DrewMcIntyre will fight Brock Lesnar at next year's Royal Rumble, he is the only one who can defeat him

Drew McIntyre is the best option above all the others mentioned in this feature.

A showdown between McIntyre and Lesnar is rumoured to happen at next year's WrestleMania with the Universal Championship on the line. And given the condition Strowman is suffering from, it's best that WWE to execute those plans early by putting McIntyre against Lesnar at Royal Rumble.

They could set up a qualifying match to determine the next contender who will face Lesnar at Rumble and McIntyre may end up winning the match which eventually will make him the next contender for Lesnar's title. So if McIntyre will fight Lesnar at next year's Royal Rumble, I guess anything may go down as Drew McIntyre is rumoured to be next Universal Champion after Lesnar.
