#2 Sasha Banks and Bayley could become the inaugural Women's Tag Team Champions
The first ever women's tag team champions will be crowned at Elimination Chamber. The former women's champion Alexa Bliss unveiled the championship belts last month. A total of six teams will participate in Houston, and the winners will definitely make history this year.
Three teams will compete from the red brand, and three teams will compete from the blue brand. In fact, three teams have qualified for the match, while the remaining three teams could be decided next week.
Nia Jax and Tamina qualified for the match on Raw, and they were joined by the Riott Squad's Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan. Furthermore, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville were added to the match on Smackdown Live.
Several contenders could fill the remaining spots. Sasha Banks and Bayley are favourites to be the last team from the red brand. Banks had a magnificent start of the new year, as she produced a remarkable match at Royal Rumble.
Ronda Rousey worked hard to beat the former Raw Women's Champion. Hence, Banks could be set for a big push after the Royal Rumble.
Meanwhile, Bayley is a former NXT Women's Champion and former Raw Women's Champion. The two horsewomen played an essential role in the Women's Revolution. Both women had poor runs last year, but they could make a statement at Toyota Center by becoming the inaugural Women's Tag Team Champions.
