Alexa Bliss has always been a champion heading into the Royal Rumble pay-per-views, but never has she competed on the main card of the show.
She was the SmackDown Women's Champion when the Royal Rumble took place in 2017, but Alexa was booked to be a part of a six woman tag team match at the pre-show, where she teamed up with Mickie James and Natalya to battle the team of Nikki Bella, Naomi, and Becky Lynch. Little Miss Bliss took the pin in that match as her team lost the match.

In 2018, Stephanie McMahon announced the first ever 30-Woman Royal Rumble match, and with Alexa Bliss being the RAW Women's Champion, she was not booked to be a part of the only women's match on the show.
