This week on WWE RAW featured various teams and factions teasing their end or outright confirming their breakup. While this could signify an end to a lot of partnerships in the Stamford-based promotion, it could also serve as new beginnings for many superstars.
For this list, we will look at four groups who recently teased or confirmed separating on this week's Monday Night RAW.
#4. One of the members of DIY stormed out of WWE RAW
John Cena's father just broke his silence on his heel turn! More details RIGHT HERE
This week on Monday Night RAW, Awesome Truth defended their World Tag Team Championships for the first time after winning them on WrestleMania XL. They clashed with their friends DIY, Tommaso Ciampa, and Johnny Gargano. While they may have looked like they were only disappointed in the ring, their backstage interview says otherwise.
After Jackie Redmond asked the duo about what's their next step after almost winning the tag team titles, Ciampa stated that winning the titles was supposed to be the next step before storming out. It would be interesting to see if Tommaso's outburst was only for last night or a permanent thing.
#3. Gunther's return led to Giovanni Vinci's exit
After losing the Intercontinental Championship to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania XL, fans saw Gunther again this week on RAW. During the show, he accepted his defeat and also declared for The King of the Ring Tournament. The New Day interrupted him, leading to a tag team match.
Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston took home the victory, resulting in The Ring General walking out and leaving Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci on the stage. While it seemed like Kaiser was comforting Vinci, the former betrayed the latter instead.
#2. Chad Gable completely buried Alpha Academy
One fan-favorite group that recently disbanded from WWE is Alpha Academy, all because of Chad Gable's new character. Last week on RAW, he turned heel by attacking Sami Zayn after their Intercontinental Championship match in Canada. Due to this, the rest of the Alpha Academy was affected.
Gable stated that he should have been the one to win the title at WrestleMania but instead, he was training losers. He stated that Akira Toziwa kept losing and Maxxine Dupri was "pretty as a princess but dumb as a box of rocks." Gable added that Otis was the biggest disappointment of them all.
#1. The Judgment Day could be breaking up on WWE soon
To end this week's Monday Night RAW episode, Andrade and Ricochet defeated Santos Escobar and JD McDonagh. However, the winning duo weren't able to celebrate further after Damian Priest attacked them. Interestingly, this wasn't the most talked about moment of the match.
After the WWE World Heavyweight Champion defeated their opponents, the champion told Dominik and JD that he didn't need The Judgment Day, but the group needed him more.
