Cody Rhodes overcame the challenge of Kevin Owens at Bash in Berlin to retain his Undisputed WWE Championship. On the latest episode of SmackDown, Rhodes came face-to-face with Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline.
Solo had previously warned that he was next in line for a shot at the title, regardless of who won in Germany. The segment between Rhodes and Solo kicked off the show, with Solo stepping into the ring alone to confront Rhodes, while the rest of The Bloodline stayed at ringside as instructed.
Here are four key takeaways from their confrontation on Friday Night SmackDown.

#4. Solo Sikoa wants a rematch against Cody Rhodes
Solo Sikoa believes that he would have won the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam last month against Cody Rhodes, if not for Roman Reigns' interference. Solo challenged Rhodes to a rematch for the title.
The American Nightmare responded, stating that his championship should be defended on the season premiere of SmackDown next week on the USA Network. After some back-and-forth, Rhodes eventually agreed to a rematch against Solo Sikoa next week.
#3. Jacob Fatu is loyal to Solo Sikoa...for now
Before Cody Rhodes agreed to the match against Solo Sikoa for next week's SmackDown, he stated that Solo didn’t deserve the title shot and suggested that his Bloodline stablemate, Jacob Fatu, was more deserving.
Rhodes called on Fatu to step up and accept the opportunity. However, Fatu declined, affirming his loyalty to Solo saying that he loves him. Despite this show of unity, the segment subtly teased a potential breakup within The Bloodline, hinting that Jacob Fatu could become one of the top contenders for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the future.
#2. Main event match announced for WWE SmackDown
Cody Rhodes accepted Solo Sikoa's challenge for next week's SmackDown. However, Solo wasn’t willing to wait till next week. He ordered the rest of The Bloodline in Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu to get in the ring, surrounding Rhodes in a four-on-one situation.
Just as things were looking dire, The Street Profits and DIY rushed out to the ring, evening the odds. These two teams have been tormented by The Bloodline for the last several weeks.
WWE General Manager Nick Aldis then appeared and announced an eight-man tag team match for the main event of the show, pitting The Bloodline against the team of The Street Profits and DIY.
#1. Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa set to be a Steel Cage Match
One established aspect of a match involving Solo Sikoa is interference from The Bloodline. However, General Manager Nick Aldis made it clear that he wants none of that during next week's Undisputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa.
To prevent any outside interference, Aldis announced that the main event title match on the season premiere of SmackDown on the USA Network will be contested inside a Steel Cage, ensuring that the stable stays out of the action.
It will be fascinating to see if Solo Sikoa can establish himself as the true Tribal Chief by becoming the new Undisputed WWE Champion next week on SmackDown.
