After a one-week absence, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis is expected to make his return to WWE programming and he will have a lot of things to address after the events that transpired during the latest episode of the blue brand.
Last week's episode of the blue brand saw Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline continue their feud with Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton, while Bayley confronted both Nia Jax and Miss Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton.
Meanwhile, LA Knight appeared on the show with a contract for Logan Paul for a United States Championship match at SummerSlam 2024, but neither Paul nor Aldis were present during the segment.
With that in mind, we take a look at four things the SmackDown General Manager will need to address on the blue brand this week.

#4. Blair Davenport's booking

Blair Davenport is trying to make a statement on SmackDown but has been unsuccessful so far. Davenport recently stepped up against reigning WWE Women's Champion Bayley but failed to claim the title.
Now, she has started a feud with Naomi but appears to have no clear direction. Thus, Nick Aldis will need to address her booking and whether her feud with the former Women's Tag Team Champion will continue.
#3. Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton teaming up against Bayley
At SummerSlam 2024, Bayley is set to defend her title against reigning Queen of the Ring Nia Jax, who currently has Tiffany Stratton on her side. Jax and Stratton confronted Bayley last week, and Nick Aldis will look to address the situation.
As for Bayley, she will need to keep her eyes open and not be vulnerable, as Tiffany can cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase at any time.
#2. LA Knight's WWE SummerSlam 2024 contract
LA Knight appeared on the latest episode of SmackDown holding a contract for his match against United States Champion Logan Paul. Knight had signed the contract and was waiting for Paul's signature, but the Maverick was absent from the show.
A week later, Nick Aldis will have to decide whether he will sanction LA Knight for his actions last week or whether he will make the match official, with two weeks left until The Biggest Party of the Summer.
#1. The Bloodline's involvement in Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa at WWE SummerSlam 2024
Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa will collide for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2024. The match has become official and Sikoa will look to become the top champion of the Stamford-based promotion at the event.
Solo and The Bloodline have taken advantage of the numbers game and have dominated The American Nightmare in recent weeks. As Cody Rhodes will look for payback this week, having Randy Orton and Kevin Owens on his side, Nick Aldis will have to decide what he will do with The Bloodline.
The SmackDown General Manager could either ban the heel faction from the match to ensure there will be no interference or add a stipulation where The Bloodline would interfere without costing Solo Sikoa his title opportunity. Such examples would be a "Bloodline Rules" match or a No Disqualification Match.
