It is hard to believe that Roman Reigns was once a part of the NXT roster. He had a small run in NXT. He made his debut in NXT on October 2012 and wrestled his last NXT match on December of the same year.

Seth Rollins was the then reigning NXT champion. Three weeks after his NXT debut, Roman Reigns made his main roster debut during Survivor Series 2012, helping CM Punk retain his WWE championship against John Cena and Ryback.
Roman Reigns never had a chance to win the NXT championship. But one cannot predict if he would go back to NXT to uncheck the gold belt from his bucket list.
