#2 Dakota Kai outsmarts her former friend

Dakota Kai was once the biggest babyface in the entire company who used to work hard to earn her opportunities and try to go big. As a babyface, she squared off with the then NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler a couple of times but suffered the same fate both times.

At NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2019, Kai turned heel and attacked her best friend, Tegan Nox. Since then, Nox was out of competition taking time off to heal the injuries she picked up at the hands of Kai.

Now that Nox is back, and Kai has cost her a Championship opportunity during the Battle Royal a couple of weeks ago, the two women will go head to head on NXT this week.

While The Girl with The Shiniest Wizard will try her best to exact revenge from the now heelish Kai, it should be Kai who must pick up the first victory in this rivalry.

Not only will this help Kai establish herself as a formidable competitor, but it will also likely bring a lot of heat towards her which is required to build on her new character.
