AJ Styles and Cedric Alexander will cross paths on RAW

Cedric Alexander was eliminated from the tournament last week when he lost to Baron Corbin. However, it was not a clean loss for the former Cruiserweight Champion, as he was attacked by The OC in the backstage area. Alexander got injured after the assault and Corbin took advantage of the situation.

Though just one week is left for Clash of Champions, AJ Styles is still uncertain about his next challenger. While it looked like we could see a triple threat match between Styles, Rollins, and Strowman, with both US Title and Universal Title on the line, it is highly unlikely now. Perhaps the backstage attack opened the gate for a new rivalry last week.

Cedric Alexander and AJ Styles are scheduled to lock horns in a non-title match on RAW. After getting ambushed by The OC, Cedric will be aiming for vengeance. A victory could allow Cedric to take revenge and he could also punch a ticket for Clash of Champions. If the former Cruiserweight Champion pins Styles this week, the latter could defend the US Championship in a rematch.
