Now that Bayley has turned heel, WWE must allow her to explore the dark side. It is obvious that she has a huge fan following as a face. And turning her into a complete heel might appear risky at the moment.

However, we know she has already gained the respect of the WWE Universe with her in-ring skills. She is extremely over with the crowd who cheers for her irrespective of her opponent. The arena's reaction when she hit Becky Lynch with the chair is the evidence of how long the fans have waited for her to pull off something like that.
At this point, she needs to embrace her newly-found side and live it to the fullest. It would be weird to see her fight as a heel one night and resume being 'too good to be true' on the next night. It will only leave her and the rest of us confused every week.
If WWE believe that they cannot have an icon like her be an unforgiving heel, maybe she can turn into someone who is an anti-hero. After all, the WWE Universe is already backing her as someone who is done staying in someone's shadow.
