Kurt Angle made an emotional announcement on the Monday Night RAW. The WWE Hall of Famer will have his farewell match the at WrestleMania.

Angle has been a substandard performer after he made his in-ring return in 2017. There is no denying that age has slowed down the Olympic gold medalist, who was an incredible performer in his prime, and it is probably the right time to retire from the squared circle.

Cody Rhodes' uncle is a WWE Hall of Famer. More details HERE.

Angle's reputation was hurt last year when the former WWE Champion lost bouts against Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. As a matter of fact, McIntyre humiliated Angle when the latter tapped out in his own ankle lock. Moreover, he was eliminated within three minutes at the Royal Rumble match this year.

Though Angle's stature is jeopardized after consecutive losses, he is still a force to reckon to with. The Olympic medalist defeated Appollo Crews on RAW this week, and he is definitely building momentum for the Show of Shows. He is expected to collide with an elite opponent.

John Cena could be an ideal choice to face the legendary wrestler. Cena's debut match was against Kurt Angle, and he could be a perfect candidate to retire the former WWE Champion.
