#2 Surprise Appearances

WWE hiding anyone?

This isn't the first time WWE has ever done a show like this. There have been a couple other reunions over the years, as well as special anniversary shows.

What made a lot of the anniversary/reunion shows in the past better than today was that WWE never really announced who would be in it. Now they did announce some of the bigger names like Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and others, but they kept returning mid-card talent and even some bigger names as a surprise.

Most recently, the 25 anniversary episode of WWE RAW in 2018 featured a huge list of legends and former talent. And while they were right to announce names such as Austin, did they really think they would bring in more viewers by announcing names like MVP, or Lillian Garcia?

Don't get me wrong, while it was fun to see talent like those, it wasn't necessary to announce them beforehand.

Tonight's WWE RAW Reunion seems to be following the same formula, as while they have rightly announced names like Austin and Hogan, they have also announced stars like Mark Henry and The Godfather, who, as entertaining as they are, wouldn't really put any extra people on seats for a show like this.

Hopefully there will be some unannounced names set to appear, because just appearing out of the blue is often far more fun than being announced beforehand.
