The Bloodline has been on a roll these last few weeks on SmackDown. After taking out Roman Reigns, the deadly group managed to retain their WWE Tag Team Titles in a hard-fought match against The Street Profits. However, as with everything, the methods used for their success are questionable, and they will be confronted because of it, this week on the blue brand. However, the decision of a four-time champion to back out from said confrontation could benefit them greatly.

For context, The Bloodline is scheduled to take on both DIY and the Street Profits in an eight-man tag team match this week. However, in a shocking twist, four-time champion, Tommaso Ciampa may choose to back out from the match, tipping the scales in Solo Sikoa and co's favor. How does this happen? Well, as has been speculated for weeks, Ciampa will finally turn on Johnny Gargano.

Tommaso Ciampa is called The Blackheart for a reason, and it's simply because he has a propensity for betrayal. Additionally, it would not be the first time he has betrayed Gargano, who knows firsthand about his heelish tendencies. Ciampa could betray Gargano backstage, breaking up DIY and in the process, leaving the Street Profits high and dry.

This would definitely pave the way for another victory for The Bloodline. But, as mentioned earlier, this is yet another case of speculation. Only time will tell what goes down this Friday.

Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline still have Cody Rhodes in their sights

While Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline will be focused on DIY and the Street Profits this week, they will also be looking at the bigger picture. And, one of the main figures in the big picture is the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes. Sikoa is desperate to bring the title back to the faction, and he will go to any lengths to do so.

He may have been unsuccessful at SummerSlam, but he definitely still has Rhodes in his sights. If all goes their way and they do prevail over DIY and the Street Profits, The American Nightmare is surely next on The Street Champion's list. Who knows? The two may even clash for a second time very soon.

Whether their match comes at Bad Blood or somewhere further down the road, it is inevitable. But, will Sikoa come out on top a second time around is something that remains to be seen.
