Despite the absence of Roman Reigns, the Bloodline saga continues to captivate the WWE Universe with its storyline. At the latest premium live event, Money in the Bank 2024, Solo Sikoa and his faction emerged victorious in a high-profile main event where Sikoa pinned Cody Rhodes for the win. Currently, Solo's Bloodline lacks a Wiseman after they ousted Paul Heyman from the faction for refusing to acknowledge Sikoa as the new Tribal Chief.
This has sparked speculation about 4-time champion Rikishi making a WWE comeback to become Solo's faction's new Wiseman. Fans are eager for this scenario due to the father-son relationship between Solo and the Hall of Famer.
However, in a recent interview, the legendary star seemed to diminish the likelihood of this happening, citing valid reasons why he might decline the role. Rikishi stated that while he's interested in returning as Wiseman for The Bloodline, scheduling conflicts could prevent him from accepting the position.
He emphasized that professional wrestling is just one part of his life, and spending time with his family is equally important to him.
"People ask would I be interested (in returning as The Wiseman). Yeah, I guess. It makes sense. Is the scheduling gonna be (a problem), cause I don't wanna hit the road, and that would probably be the only reason why I would probably decline. There's so much to my life now than professional wrestling. My time is my time now; the second part of my life is to spend time to visit my kids, my grandkids, and it's nice when I show up to the boys' homes," said Rikishi.
As of now, Rikishi is a four-time champion in the Stamford-based promotion, with two reigns as World Tag Team Champion, one as WWE World Tag Team Champion, and one as Intercontinental Champion.
It remains to be seen what will unfold in the coming weeks regarding who will step in as the new Wiseman for The Bloodline.
An unexpected name could be revealed as the new Wiseman for The Bloodline
If not Rikishi, another potential candidate for the role of Wiseman in The Bloodline could be Jacob Fatu. When Solo introduced Jacob, he had already designated him as the Enforcer of this new version of the faction. However, the Samoan Werewolf's representation in WWE since his debut indicates Triple H's strong trust in him despite his past.
So, it's possible that to further establish his prominence, Sikoa could announce Jacob as the Wiseman for the faction as well. Having Fatu serve as both a Wiseman and an Enforcer would undoubtedly enhance the intrigue and appeal of the entire family saga.
