Carlito's spot in The Judgment seems to be in serious jeopardy as of late. There is the anticipation that the faction could kick him out soon, especially after the addition of Raquel Rodriguez.
Every other member of The Judgment Day has become part of a storyline on RAW, while Carlito is still searching for a direction since he joined the faction several months ago. Reports suggest that Triple H and WWE Creative want to give him a push in singles competition, but there is no official confirmation as to what is next for the 45-year-old wrestler.
With that in mind, let's take a look at five directions for Carlito should he leave The Judgment Day soon.
#5. Carlito could make amends with Rey Mysterio
This is where it all started for Carlito when he turned on Rey Mysterio and left LWO. From there, he aligned with Dominik Mysterio after his heel turn and joined The Judgment Day.
Should he leave the faction, he could have a face turn and try to make amends with the WWE Hall of Famer and LWO. That way, he could rejoin the group and try to take revenge for Judgment Day, as Rey Mysterio has a feud with them.
#4. Another United States Championship run?
It has been 21 years since Carlito first appeared in WWE. A year after his debut (2004), he became the United States Champion, followed by a run as Intercontinental Champion (2005) and a couple of runs as Tag Team Champions with Primo.
If he is to get a push by WWE, having one more run, likely his final one, as US Champion, would make sense. It would allow him to maintain his heel persona and move to SmackDown to dethrone LA Knight.
On that occasion, Carlito started a feud with LA Knight, keeping the title for a while before dropping it again to one of the fan favorites and top faces in WWE.
#3. A potential move to SmackDown or NXT
If Carlito leaves The Judgment Day, he will be in search of a new direction in WWE. To avoid an assault from the faction, though, he could leave Monday Night RAW and move to SmackDown or NXT.
He could make a fresh start on both brands and get involved in new storylines as a heel or a face.
#2. A possible face turn
Although the veteran has been a heel on RAW for a long time without much success, leaving The Judgment Day could open the way for a face turn, exactly like Damian Priest did after Finn Balor betrayed him at SummerSlam.
A face turn here would allow him to continue his storyline with The Judgment Day, seeking revenge on his members. It would also allow him to align with other faces on the RAW roster, like Rey Mysterio, LWO, The New Day, and more.
#1. Future reunion with Damian Priest against The Judgment Day
Damian Priest took his revenge on Finn Balor after his victory at Bad Blood. Still, he made it clear that his rivalry with the faction is not over, and it remains to be seen if Balor and team will attempt to cost him a title shot against Gunther after Crown Jewel.
If the 45-year-old is out of The Judgment Day, he could have a face turn and reunite with the Punisher to continue their feud against the faction. Should this happen, the two superstars could join forces and go after Balor and JD McDonagh for the RAW Tag Team titles.
