#3 He envisaged Ryback’s departure

Following his WrestleMania 31 defeat to The Undertaker, Bray Wyatt spoke in riddles as he cut mysterious promos about an unnamed Superstar. After a couple of weeks, it turned out that Ryback was the man who he had been referring to.

During an exchange of words prior to their encounter at Payback 2015, Ryback passionately explained how he wanted to be a “hero” to all the children in the audience, but Wyatt saw through his rival and described him as a “false idol”.

“This human world makes human monsters. You, you paint yourself as an untouchable force but I can see beneath the surface. You’re nothing more than a scared little boy, deathly afraid that people will see through your facade, expose your failures.”

Wyatt went on to add that Ryback would soon “fade away”, and that’s exactly what happened one year later when the former Intercontinental champion ended his 12-year association with WWE by leaving the company.

“I’m going to tell you a little secret, friend. Everything you love, everything that you are afraid to lose, is all going to fade away. And in time, friend, so will you.”
