#1 He saw the monster in Daniel Bryan before everyone else
Daniel Bryan cemented his status as one of the most popular WWE babyfaces of the decade during the eight-month build-up to his WWE World Heavyweight Championship triumph at WrestleMania 30.

In amongst his battles with Triple H, Randy Orton and the rest of The Authority, Bryan was involved in a memorable feud with Bray Wyatt in which he briefly became a brainwashed member of The Wyatt Family.
Wyatt explained during one particular promo on Raw in December 2013 how he could see the “monster” in Bryan and that his rival was “living a lie” by pandering to the WWE Universe.
“Let me ask you, friend. How long are you willing to live this lie? How long until they discover that your dirty little feet are soiling their red carpets? I understand you, Bryan. I see you for what you really are. They, they look at you like you’re some circus clown here for their amusement. They look at you like a gorilla in a cage, son, but I see the monster in you. They can’t love you – not like I can, Bryan.”
Granted, it took a long time for this statement to mean anything, but Bryan’s November 2018 heel turn vindicated everything that Wyatt said five years earlier.
