WarGames is one of the most dangerous structures in all of wrestling, which was introduced to WWE in 2017. Since then, the structure has proven its hazardous nature by injuring several superstars while performing inside the structure.
The WarGames concept was created by Dusty Rhodes in the 1980s in NWA. The first stars who wrestled inside the two ring cage structures were the Road Warriors, Nikita Koloff, Dusty, and Paul Ellering against The Four Horsemen. Other wrestling promotions have adapted their own rules and structure style of the match since then. For WWE, it was in 2017 at NXT, while the first female stars competed in 2019. Although most of the names who competed in this match have decade-long experience as professionals, some still sustain some injuries.
For this list, we will look at four times WWE Superstars suffered injuries inside WarGames.

#4. Roman Reigns at Survivor Series: WarGames 2022
The 2022 Survivor Series: WarGames marked the first time the structure was featured on the main roster. For the men's division, the OG Bloodline battled The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens. Although Roman Reigns' team won, he didn't walk out of the cage unscathed.
During Roman and Kevin's exchange, the latter delivered a hard slap that resulted in the former sustaining a ruptured eardrum. Reports even suggested that Reigns got mad at Owens backstage, but everything calmed down within minutes.
There were also reports that Drew McIntyre and Jey Uso sustained an injury during the match, but nothing else followed these, and both men competed in a tag team house show the following day.
#3. Candice LeRae was one of the first women to compete at WWE WarGames
Candice LeRae is one of the first women who competed at the first female WarGames match in the company. In 2020, she made her second appearance as the team captain, teaming up with Dakota Kai, Raquel Rodriguez, and Toni Storm against Team Shotzi's Ember Moon, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY. The women didn't hold back, but that also meant the injuries they sustained weren't anything simple.
Following the event, it was shared that Candice may have broken her arm. LeRae later shared that it was a miracle that her scans showed it wasn't broken and she was able to use it within 24 hours, only sharing that it was some deep tissue damage.
However, one body part that caused some concern was her ribs. After telling the referee that she hurt her ribs, doctors at ringside urged her to leave the cage to get it checked but she decided to finish the match instead. Fortunately, she was already feeling better after the match finished.
Despite the injury, The Poison Pixie didn't back down from the structure and is set for another match in this upcoming WWE Survivor Series. She will team up with Raquel, Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, and Tiffany Stratton.
#2. and #1. The men's division of the 2020 WWE WarGames match resulted in two injured stars
Candice wasn't the only superstar who walked out of the 2020 match with injuries. In the men's division, The Undisputed Era battled Team McAfee. Both teams had one competitor injured, Bobby Fish for the first group while Oney Lorcan for the second.
Bobby's injury was initially thought to be nothing major and didn't need any surgery. However, he later underwent one to re-attach his triceps. For Oney, he sustained a laceration on the face, which was visible at the end of the match.
