#1 Shinsuke Nakamura

It's a shame how Shinsuke Nakamura has been treated in WWE. The Japanese sensation is certainly one of the most underused Superstars in the company. The former US Champion teamed up with Rusev to form a tag team but they have not been on SmackDown Live for a month.
It is no secret that Nakamura is one of the biggest names in pro-wrestling. Nakamura was a huge star in Japan before WWE signed him in 2016. He quickly climbed the top of the ladder in NXT where he won the NXT Title twice. The expectations were sky-high when he made his main roster debut. Initially, Nakamura attained success on the main roster. The Japanese Superstar won the men's Royal Rumble match last year but his push halted after losing to AJ Styles at WrestleMania 34. Although Nakamura won the US Title last year, he has not been a relevant name.
Considering the proficiency and reputation of Nakamura, he deserves to be the top guy of the company. Judging by Nakamura's run, Vince McMahon doesn't have any special plan for the former NXT Champion. Nakamura could be a notable addition to Tony Khan's company if AEW shows interest to sign him in the future.
