Apart from Charlotte Flair and The Usos, Brock Lesnar was one such champion who walked in with the same title in both the WrestleManias. But, unlike Flair and the twins, there was a common characteristic between the opponents of Brock Lesnar. Both of Brock Lesnar's opponents were members of WWE's most credible faction, The Shield.

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose had debuted as The Shield way back in 2012 and the three individuals then split to focus on their singles careers. Reigns was chosen as the company's golden boy and thus, he received a mega push last year where he defeated six other men inside the Elimination Chamber to earn a shot at Lesnar's title.

As Reigns was sidelined due to Leukemia this year, his Shield brother Seth Rollins received a WrestleMania match as he outlasted 29 other men to challenge the Universal Champion. In fact, Brock Lesnar became the only superstar to face all the members of the Shield in singles matches at WrestleMania. The Beast had earlier battled Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania 32.
