Could we see more special appearances by main roster stars on NXT?

In the week's the NXT and AEW Dynamite have gone head to head, NXT has only once so far in the ratings despite putting on a great show every week. The only week which NXT won was the go-home show ahead of Survivor Series where we knew that RAW and SmackDown would invade Full Sail. Occasional special appearances by main roster stars could work but it has to be done right. The concern here is that those in charge may decide to put more RAW and SmackDown stars on NXT occasionally which, if not done right, could change what NXT is.

If WWE limit appearances by main roster stars to be a rare and special attraction though, it could work out well for NXT, bringing in more casual fans who mainly watch only RAW and SmackDown. This would help WWE in the ratings battle against AEW but if not done right, could have a long term negative impact.
