In September 2022, WWE announced that Triple H would take over as the new Chief Content Officer. Hunter instantly started overseeing most day-to-day company duties, including creative control, live events, and talent relations. The page was essentially turned, and a new era was underway.
Since becoming the CCO, Triple H has created a buzz that has positively ignited the fanbase. That said, he is far from perfect and has made his fair share of mistakes.
Triple H has received considerable criticism from fans and wrestlers from other companies. Some feel he has done a great job, while others are less impressed with the new boss man.

#5. Austin Theory's roster placement
WWE signed Austin Theory in 2019, and he made his NXT debut on the show's Christmas episode. After a brief run on the main roster in 2020, Theory was eventually drafted to RAW in 2021. He got involved with a promising storyline with Vince McMahon when he portrayed the role as his protégé.
Since arriving on the main roster, Austin Theory has not had much of a clear creative direction. He is currently a member of the tag team known as A-Town Down Under alongside Grayson Waller. While the team has climbed to the top of the tag team division, Austin has been hindered from his true potential as a top singles superstar.
#4. Triple H allowed Ricochet to get away
AEW fans welcomed former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ricochet at the All In pay-per-view. His debut with the company surprised some, while others thought he would soon be "All Elite" after the news broke that he was leaving World Wrestling Entertainment.
Before signing with WWE, Ricochet established himself as one of the top independent stars in the world. He enjoyed tremendous success with PWG, NJPW, Dragon Gate, and Lucha Underground, to name a few.
WWE announced that it had signed the global star in early 2018. After six years with the company, Ricochet informed them he had no intentions to stay beyond his contract's expiration.
#3. Triple H has failed the WWE tag team division
Once upon a time, not too long ago, tag team wrestling was thriving. Teams like The Road Warriors, Demolition, The Hardy Boyz, and The Rock 'n Roll Express are just a few that created historic moments throughout wrestling history. Meanwhile, today's tag team division features names like "Pretty Deadly."
As previously mentioned, Triple H has done a lot of good for the state of professional wrestling since taking over. However, WWE's tag team division is struggling. Top teams like the Motor City Machine Guns should help the company rebound somewhat. But there is still a need for much more if fans can expect to see a resurgence in tag team wrestling.
#2. Triple H created meaningless titles
When we think about the top championships in WWE today, we have to start at the top, which is Cody Rhodes' Undisputed Title. Then we have the Intercontinental title, the United States Championship, and so on. There are also the Women's Titles, which Liv Morgan and Nia Jax currently hold on their respective brand.
Last month at Bad Blood, Triple H introduced men's and women's Crown Jewel Championships. Sure, these titles look amazing, but they are pointless and have no storyline value.
WWE Speed on X/Twitter also has two championship belts with no real purpose, as titleholders don't appear with their gold on weekly TV.
#1. The Wyatt Sicks has no creative direction under Triple H
The WWE Universe took a staggering blow to the heart last August when the news broke that Bray Wyatt had tragically passed away. Bray was a true visionary and a creative savant, and millions of wrestling fans adored him worldwide. Shortly after his passing, rumors began to swirl that Bo Dallas would possibly return as Uncle Howdy and, in some way, continue Wyatt's legacy. This led to the creation of The Wyatt Sicks.
Since debuting in June, The Wyatt Sicks stable has been involved in random angles, which have led to nothing of real substance. After tormenting Chad Gable and his minions, Howdy and his sinister friends have gone after The Miz and Karrion Kross's faction.
While something could evolve from a feud with The Final Testament, the overall perception of their direction is less than favorable. Triple H owes it to Bray Wyatt's memory to create something special with this group.
