4 WrestleMania 35 rumors we hope are true and 3 we hope are not

WrestleMania 35 will take place on April 7 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Though the PPV is almost four months away, WWE has already started to build up feuds for the next year's WrestleMania PPV. Like at Survivor Series, the match between Rousey and Charlotte was probably a start of WrestleMania showdown between the two women.

Also, several names have come forth as Brock Lesnar's WrestleMania 35 opponent. And now Shane McMahon is expected to be a part of a huge matchup at WM 35. So, without wasting further time, let's see what WWE might be thinking to do at the biggest show of Immortals, WrestleMania.

#7 Hope Not: No big plans for Strowman

For a long time, WWE has been carving Braun Strowman as a top guy. Stroman has been a part of several top-level feuds. And now he's scheduled to take on Brock Lesnar at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV for the Universal Championship.

Though Strowman has been booked stronger for a long time, him winning the title at Royal Rumble PPV is highly unlikely, at least at this point. And, according to the latest rumor, WWE currently doesn't have any sort of big plans for Strowman at WrestleMania.

The only match he can be a part of is of Universal Championship match, which is not possible as we'll not be seeing Strowman facing Lesnar for the fourth time. So, if the rumor comes true, I guess not only Strowman will work in a low-profile match at WrestleMania, but also he might end up being left off the card.

#6 Hope is true: Shane McMahon vs The Miz

For the past several WrestleManias, Shane McMahon has been a part of top-level matches. At WM 32 he fought Styles, at WM 33 he fought The Undertaker, and at WM 34 he and Daniel Bryan fought Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

And now for WM 35, he is rumored to face none other than The A-Lister, The Miz. Yes, according to the rumor, Shane McMahon is expected to undergo "character change" in the first quarter of 2019 and start a feud with Miz as both men are currently involved in a storyline together.

So, if he will face Miz at WM 35, I guess the latter will win without a doubt as all Shane McMahon do now is to put over young talent.

#5 Hope Not: Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch vs Charlotte

For a long time, Ronda Rousey has been rumored to main event WrestleMania 35 with the fellow women superstars. Firstly, it was rumored that Rousey will face Charlotte in the main event of next year's WrestleMania.

And then it was rumored that Rousey will face Becky Lynch in the main event of WM 35. But, now according to the latest rumor, WWE might be planning a triple threat match between these three women to the main event next year's WrestleMania.

Yes, we might possibly see Rousey vs Becky vs Charlotte at WrestleMania 35 rather than Rousey vs Becky or Rousey vs Charlotte.

#4 Hope is true: Lita and Trish Stratus in a big tag team match

Last time Trish Stratus and Lita worked together as a team was this past month at WWE Evolution PPV. There the two women defeated the duo of Alicia Fox and Mickie James. Since then, the two women are rumored to team up again but the time and place for it was unknown.

But, according to the latest rumor, WWE currently has big tag team match plans for Trish and Lita at WrestleMania 35. Though, at this, it's unknown as of who will they face. But, I guess they might fight for the women's tag team titles which are rumored for a long time.

#3 Hope is true: Shawn Michaels to wrestle one more time

Last time we saw Shawn Michaels wrestling inside the WWE ring was at WWE Crown Jewel PPV, where Triple H and him took on The Undertaker and Kane in a tag team match. And ever since this match happened, Shawn Michaels has left a door open for another match, most likely at WrestleMania.

According to the latest rumor, Shawn Michaels is not likely to turn down a match for next year's WrestleMania as WWE is paying him nearly two-million dollars. Though at this point we don't know as of who will he face at the biggest show of Immortals, I guess WWE will pick up the perfect guy as Shawn's WM 35 opponent.

#2 Hope Not: AJ Styles vs Brock Lesnar

AJ Styles was scheduled to face off Brock Lesnar again at this year's Survivor Series PPV. But the match was called off when Bryan defeated Styles for the WWE Championship and went on to replace Styles as Lesnar's Survivor Series'opponent.

Though it was rumored that WWE didn't want Lesnar to bury Styles again at Survivor Series, according to the latest rumor, Styles might face Lesnar at WrestleMania 35. According to the rumor, there aren't many wrestlers top guys left who can legitimately threaten Lesnar in the ring.

So, that means WWE can only pick up between Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and AJ Styles as Lesnar's WM 35 opponent. So, I guess we'll have to wait till next year's WrestleMania to see if really Styles will face Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 possibly with the Universal Championship on the line.

#1 Hope is true: Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins

Brock Lesnar is currently scheduled to face Braun Strowman at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV. At this point, it's highly unlikely that he'll drop the title to Strowman. And according to the latest rumor, WWE is now planning a Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar match for the Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 35.

And to make things more interesting, WWE might even use Roman Reigns' Leukaemia condition into the storyline. After all, they want to make things bigger as much as possible because the last time Rollins went into a feud with Lesnar, it was a total blockbuster.

And I guess this time, it'd be probably much bigger as now the Universal Championship will be on the line. So, if WWE officials are really thinking a showdown between Lesnar and Rollins, it will be a great option rather than any other.
