4 WrestleMania 41 matches that either have been teased or rumored

WrestleMania 41 is still months away, but it is already creating a huge buzz across Titanland. The numerous and branching narratives that were concocted over the past year have left fans hyped up for this year’s Showcase of the Immortals.

The entire WWE Universe can expect a culmination of rivalries among superstars. Moreover, this could be a career-defining moment for them, and their names could be forever etched in pro-wrestling history.

While nothing has been confirmed as of yet as to who will be facing who, the promotion may have already given some hints about it. Here are just some epic matches that are rumored to go down at the event.

#4. Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk for WrestleMania 41 was heavily discussed

CM Punk and The Bloodline’s Only Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, won their respective matches during the WWE RAW premiere on Netflix. The two superstars have interacted and even formed an alliance during the feud between the two Bloodline factions. Despite the team-up, the animosity between them is very much evident.

A match between the two superstars was seemingly discussed internally. However, it may well seem that nothing has been finalized as of yet. Further, there were reports suggesting that Punk has been keeping his fingers crossed for such a matchup between him and Reigns to happen.

It will certainly be a blockbuster of a match if a Reigns-Punk bout gets booked for WrestleMania 41. Will The Second City Saint ask for that favor from The Bloodline's Wiseman, Paul Heyman?

#3. The G.O.A.T. John Cena vs. The Maverick Logan Paul

The possibility of John Cena and Logan Paul going at it at WrestleMania 41 was also discussed. The latter was even vocal about it, calling out the likes of Triple H for the fight to happen. This was back in 2023, prior to WrestleMania 39, as this created quite the talk among fans and pundits.

However, the aforementioned talks fell through as the idea of such a match at WrestleMania 41 was met with a big no from several members of WWE creative.

It may be ruled out for this year’s Show of Shows, but there may still be hope that things could go down between The G.O.A.T. and The Maverick in other PLEs of the promotion.

#2. Cody Rhodes vs. The Rock

Reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes facing The Rock at WrestleMania 41 is expected to be a fight for the ages if this comes to fruition.

There were initial reports last year that such a matchup has been locked in for this year’s Mania. However, winds may well seem to have shifted, and it is now believed that the promotion could be eyeing a John Cena–Cody Rhodes mega fight instead.

A plausible factor behind The Rock’s rumored absence at this year’s Mania could be his Hollywood obligations, especially with the live-action adaptation of Moana.

#1. Triple Threat match between The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes

It was during the closing moments of last year’s Bad Blood PLE when The Rock made a shocking return. This after the unlikely alliance of current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and The Bloodline’s Only Tribal Chief Roman Reigns emerged as the victors against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match.

Rocky seemed to have issued a warning to both superstars, where he was seen counting to three before making a cut-throat gesture. However, others believe that he could be suggesting something else.

Such gestures by The Rock at the time were interpreted by some as a hint/tease that they could be delving into a Triple Threat match come WrestleMania 41. The idea was believed to have been discussed inside the company, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Imagine if such a matchup pushes through. This will go down in pro wrestling history as perhaps one of the greatest of all-time.
