Before The Shield's on-screen formation, current NXT Superstar Kassius Ohno was reportedly one of the stars creative were considering for a position in the group. While we know The Shield as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, if the original plan CM Punk pitched came to fruition, the faction would have consisted of Kassius Ohno, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. If that plan had happened, who knows how far Kassius would be in the WWE -- likely a former World Champion by now...

With that being said, while Kassius Ohno isn't one of NXT's top prospects by any stretch (his booking reflects this notion), Kassius is a veteran of the business and has tons to offer the WWE in terms of raw talent. Ohno would be a solid addition to The Shield if the WWE were interested in adding another member, and considering Kassius Ohno isn't really doing anything of note down in NXT, it would definitely do wonders for his career.
