Despite being one of the most talented, diverse, and not to mention huge tag teams to come through the WWE system in recent years, The Authors Of Pain certainly have not been featured nearly as prominently as most fans had anticipated following their call-up to the main roster. Akam and Rezar were absolute forces to be reckoned with down in NXT, and it only seemed fitting they would continue their dominance once on Monday Night Raw.

However, the WWE have been attempting to put a greater focus on AOP the past few weeks, and it's definitely reassuring to know the WWE haven't forgotten about a duo with so much promise and potential. While The Authors Of Pain are great on their own, it would undoubtedly be extremely cool if creative were to make AOP the two new members of The Shield -- Akam and Rezar have long been compared to The Shield. Regardless of their slow start on the main roster, being paired up with The Shield would solidify AOP as the future of the tag team division, and it would right the wrongs that have been done booking-wise...
