The Road to WrestleMania 41 will kick off this Monday, January 6, when RAW moves to Netflix, marking a new era for WWE. It is still unclear what path the promotion will follow regarding the current storylines, but the current champions' titles could be in serious jeopardy before The Grandest Stage of Them All.

With that in mind, we take a look at four WWE Champions that may lose their respective titles before WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas in mid-April.

#4. AJ Styles could return and dethrone Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura returned to the title picture immediately after his debut on SmackDown. Not only that, but he also dethroned LA Knight to become the new United States Champion.

Nakamura has retained the title and is doing a great job as a heel, but this could change.

AJ Styles could come back and go after Nakamura for the US Title, reigniting a feud between two of the top stars in the wrestling business. It has been nearly seven years since AJ and Shinsuke fought in the ring, but with Styles now a face and Nakamura as a heel, WWE could go that way and bring The Phenomenal One back from his ankle injury to challenge the reigning United States Champion.

#3. Tiffany Stratton could cash in her MITB briefcase and dethrone Nia Jax

Nia Jax has retained her WWE Women's Championship since defeating Bayley at SummerSlam to claim the title.

Fast-forward to today: She has defended her title several times and managed to keep it, thanks to some interference from Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton.

However, as Stratton has made it clear that she will cash in her briefcase soon, she could turn on her friend and assault her to become the new Women's Champion. This could happen before the Royal Rumble on February 1, so WWE has time to build the feud. Nia will be out for revenge, and Tiffany will have a face turn.

#2. Liv Morgan could lose her Women's World Championship on the WWE RAW premiere on Netflix

Liv Morgan will put her title on the line on the RAW premiere on Netflix next week. This time, her opponent will be Rhea Ripley in Part III of their rivalry.

Rhea said this rivalry had to end, and Ripley will likely dethrone Morgan and put an end to the feud, at least in its current format. Liv has done a great job as a heel and a champion, but WWE could go with The Eradicator as the Women's World Champion as RAW moves to Netflix, and Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair are expected to return.

#1. CM Punk or Seth Rollins could dethrone the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther

Gunther has been unstoppable both as a heel and the World Heavyweight Champion. The Ring General has been champion for nearly five months now, but this could change going forward.

Netflix wants the top stars to be on RAW going forward, meaning that Gunther could lose the title soon. The most likely candidates to dethrone him are Seth Rollins and CM Punk. Their feud will continue, and if the World Heavyweight Championship is on the line, it could raise the stakes.

Other candidates are the OTC Roman Reigns and Logan Paul, who will join the RAW roster.
