While WWE seems to have realized the error of its ways with Nia Jax, Carmella is still going to be around. To give her credit, her matches did improve as the end of her reign came near, and that might give her and WWE a starting point for a future run.

There's still a lot of potential ground to cover for Carmella, and it certainly isn't out of the question that Charlotte will drop the title back to her at some point, probably in a multi-woman match.

After next year's superstar shakeup, Carmella might have different competitors to feud with, and if her matches keep improving, a subsequent reign might not be as dismal as her first one. It's probable she will get at least one more reign, so we can only hope that she continues to improve before that time comes.
