Triple H made a big change in WWE last year. After the position being gone for several years, the role of a General Manager returned and has since been effectively utilized in all three active brands: RAW, SmackDown, and NXT.
The NXT General Manager is Ava and Monday Night RAW's General Manager is Adam Pearce. Perhaps the most interesting of the three, and certainly the most surprising, was the addition of Nick Aldis as the SmackDown authority figure.
Aldis is a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and had success both in the National Wrestling Alliance and in TNA Wrestling. For him to come in as a non-wrestler was quite the surprise, but he has excelled in the role since.
Still, just because he's been in a non-wrestling role so far in his tenure with the company doesn't mean that's all he'll ever do. Aldis has not closed the door on returning to the ring. For all fans know, it could happen sooner rather than later. This article will look at a handful of feuds he could have if he does end up wrestling in the sports entertainment juggernaut.

Below are four WWE feuds for Nick Aldis if the SmackDown General Manager makes an in-ring return.
#4. Nick Aldis could step up to Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline
Solo Sikoa is a dominant force in WWE. He started his career in the company on NXT and even held the NXT North American Championship once. He joined the main roster in 2022 and has remained on the blue brand ever since.
The man who was once known as The Enforcer of The Bloodline is now leading a new version of the WWE stable. The group also includes Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, alongside a very scared Paul Heyman.
Aldis has had issues with the group attempting to cause chaos on WWE SmackDown and it could lead to Nick stepping back into the ring to take care of them himself. More specifically, Aldis could challenge Solo Sikoa to a match. If he does, the audience may be shocked to discover just how tough Nick is.
#3. He could feud with Logan Paul
Logan Paul is a controversial figure both in and out of WWE. Despite the controversy surrounding his name, he manages to be quite successful, especially in the squared circle. He's even the reigning United States Champion.
The Maverick has been quite successful as the WWE United States Champion, but he also hasn't defended the gold very often. He managed to defeat Rey Mysterio for the belt and kept it when battling Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, but he has otherwise rarely defended his gold.
Paul and Aldis seem to have a rocky relationship. They are at each other's throats often, with Logan trying to get one up on Nick and vice versa. There is a chance that this could lead to the pair battling it out in the future, especially if Aldis grows tired of Logan's constant cheating. He needs to avoid the brass knuckles, however.
#2. Roman Reigns and Nick Aldis have had tension in WWE
Roman Reigns is arguably the biggest name WWE has had in over a decade. He seemingly took the spot of John Cena as the promotion's biggest star, with multiple WrestleMania main events and the longest world title reign since the 1980's.
The Tribal Chief has been absent from WWE programming for quite awhile now. He was last seen at WWE WrestleMania XL Sunday where he lost his coveted world title to Cody Rhodes. He has been absent ever since.
Just like with Logan, Nick and Roman have had a rocky relationship on-screen. Roman was used to flexing his power and Aldis tried to keep Reigns in check. When The Tribal Chief returns to television, this rocky relationship could lead to a major premium live event bout. Can Nick hang with The Head of the Table?
#1. He could bring back his feud with Cody Rhodes
Roman Reigns may have been the biggest name of the top decade, but Cody Rhodes may very well be his successor in WWE. The American Nightmare is the most popular active full-time wrestler going today and the fans can't seem to get enough of him.
The American Nightmare is the current Undisputed WWE Champion. He won the belt by defeating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL, but he has already successfully retained the gold against both Logan Paul and AJ Styles, the latter of whom he defeated on two separate occasions.
Nick and Cody go way back, as they are friends and former rivals who feuded over the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Despite their mutual respect, a heel turn from Aldis leading to a feud is certainly possible if Nick wants to win another world championship.
