Even though he has been WWE Champion within the last couple of years, it still feels like Randy Orton has been somewhat underutilized for quite a while.

You would think that a performer like Randy Orton would always be in the spotlight in WWE, but that hasn't seemed to be the case in recent years. On top of that, people within the company feel like he has never reached his true potential, despite the fact that he's been a main event level talent for the majority of his career.

What could help him reach that potential is an AEW run, where he'd have a lot of the restraints taken off of him. He's someone that could probably be an incredible heel outside of WWE, as he's the type of performer who truly likes to get under the fans' skin when he's playing the bad guy.

It's difficult to imagine Orton wrestling outside of WWE, but if/when he does, it'll probably blow everyone away.
