As WWE approaches the new era with Netflix, we will likely see some changes moving forward. The transfer window is underway, with some superstars from RAW expected to move to SmackDown and vice versa. That said, a few main roster stars could head back to NXT.
Since WWE restructured and rebranded its developmental brand from FCW to NXT, there has been a gradual evolution, making the roster competitive with the main rosters. Once upon a time, it was considered a step down if someone was sent back to NXT. But now, the brand is more popular than ever, allowing for great opportunities for anyone assigned to the roster.
This is our list of four main roster WWE Superstars who must move to NXT in 2025:

#4 - Former WWE tag team champions The Street Profits
Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford are two of the most likable superstars on any roster. Ever since they started wrestling together in 2015, The Street Profits has remained fan-favorites.
The past couple of years have been nothing to write home about for Dawkins and Ford. They have made consistent appearances on SmackDown, but their creative status with WWE doesn't seem to have much of a foundation. The Street Profits have had some of their best moments in NXT. Maybe it's time to head back to Orlando and pick up where they left off as NXT tag team champs.
#3 - The Nigerian Giant Omos
Towering at over seven feet tall, Omos stands high above every other superstar he faces. His enormous size and menacing presence give him a unique advantage over anyone who challenges him. Unfortunately, The Nigerian Giant hasn't seen much action lately, leaving fans wondering what the company has planned for him.
WWE has a working relationship with Pro Wrestling NOAH, which gives superstars a chance to showcase their skills under a different spotlight. Omos recently received a golden opportunity to work on NOAH's New Year pay-per-view. He partnered with Jack Morris and won the GHC tag titles. Omos could bring the GHC tag titles to NXT, allowing NOAH to be showcased in front of a new audience.
#2 - Former NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio got his first taste of wrestling life about 20 years ago, as a child. He was a part of a storyline between his father and Eddie Guerrero. Mr. McMahon and his crew built a storyline around the custody of Dominik. He then officially signed with the company in 2019, initially partnering with his dad, Rey Mysterio.
There might be some fans who disagree with this one, but Dominik Mysterio might be in the spot in his career where he needs a change. While he is certainly one of the best heels in the company, Dominik has been repeating this same creative cycle for quite a while now. A trip back to NXT could provide the ideal platform for Dom to reinvigorate his career.
#1 - Former NXT Champion Andrade
Now into his second WWE run, Andrade has found himself in the familiar no-direction territory. Despite his recent brief feuds with superstars such as Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes, Andrade is currently lost in the mid-card shuffle.
Andrade made his first WWE debut back in late 2015. After working his way up the developmental ladder, he won the NXT Championship at the 2017 Takeover: WarGames event. After jumping to the main roster, Andrade eventually requested his release in 2021. He would spend some time in Mexico, as well as AEW, before making his return to WWE at last year's Royal Rumble.
