4 WWE stars who completely disappeared from television in the past year

WWE would usually feature several stars regularly on television. Although some don't appear as much, they are still featured on the weekly shows in some way, shape, or form every now and then. However, there are some names that have silently disappeared.

A lot has transpired in WWE in the past year. There has been a noticeable improvement in production, top stars returned, new champions were crowned, and more. However, that also meant that some superstars experienced changes in their lives, for personal reasons and more.

For this list, we will look at four WWE Superstars fans haven't seen on television recently.

#4. Many thought Brock Lesnar was released by WWE earlier this year

Fans last saw Brock Lesnar on WWE TV during the 2023 edition of SummerSlam. During the event, he was defeated by Cody Rhodes and both men shared respect after their face-off. Since then, The Beast Incarnate hasn't been featured on television.

Earlier reports indicated that Brock was supposed to be featured in this year's Men's Royal Rumble, but his alleged involvemet in the Vince McMahon's lawsuit may have halted his return. However, Triple H has told the public that Lesnar is not gone from WWE. It would be interesting to see if fans will see The Beast Incarnate again during the lead-up to this year's SummerSlam or the event itself.

#3. Alexa Bliss suddenly disappeared after her match at the 2023 Royal Rumble PLE

Alexa Bliss' latest WWE appearance was on January 28, 2023, at the Royal Rumble. During the event, she failed to defeat Bianca Belair for the RAW Women's Championship and even teased continuing her storyline with Uncle Howdy and Bray Wyatt. However, she has since been absent from television.

It was initially speculated that the former champion was sidelined due to a basal cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer, which she has fortunately recovered from already and was cleared to compete. However, fans next saw her as Axolotl during Season 9, Episode 6 of The Masked Singer. In May 2023, Bliss announced her pregnancy and gave birth in November. She has since teased a return and has shared clips of her training again.

#2. Dexter Lumis' last WWE appearance before becoming Mercy the Buzzard was in May

The only star who has already returned from this list is Dexter Lumis, though it took more than a year. The star reappeared with a completely different character and moniker.

Dexter's last appearance in WWE was in May 2023, much to the confusion of fans as reports also stated that he wasn't injured. In June 2024, he finally returned though now wearing a buzzard mask and as part of Uncle Howdy's Wyatt Sicks faction.

#1. Carmella was last seen on television more than a year ago

After being absent in 2022 due to an unfortunate ectopic pregnancy, Carmella returned in January 2023 on RAW. However, her reappearance didn't last and she was off TV again in March 2023. Fortunately, the reason for her most recent absence was a positive one.

In May 2023, she announced her pregnancy and gave birth in November. The inaugural Women's Money in the Bank winner shared that she has plans to return, but she is focused on motherhood at the moment. Also, she sustained an injury while giving birth to her son and is undergoing physical therapy.
