WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and President Nick Khan traveled to London, England. They met with Mayor Sadiq Khan to discuss the possibility of the English capital hosting WrestleMania.
For the time being, it is unknown when this could happen, but the earliest could be April of 2026, as next year's WrestleMania will take place in Las Vegas on April 19-20.
London has hosted episodes of Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown before but has never hosted a WrestleMania. WWE continues to expand and has already hosted five premium live events outside the United States in 2024.
Elimination Chamber took place in Perth, Australia; Backlash in Lyon, France; King and Queen of the Ring in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland; and Money in the Bank in Toronto, Canada.
Thus, a PLE as big as WrestleMania in Europe could be the next step. With that in mind, we look at four superstars that could be the show's main event if it took place in London, England.
#4. Rhea Ripley

WWE has made significant progress in the Women's Division. In the past few years, we have seen female superstars main event shows like WrestleMania.
Rhea Ripley had a dominant run as the Women's World Champion between WrestleMania 39 and WrestleMania 40. Unfortunately, she had to vacate it due to her shoulder injury.
She is considered one of the top names in the company and a fan favorite, so having her main event at WrestleMania could be a win-win decision for the company.
#3. Cody Rhodes is the Undisputed WWE Champion
The Undisputed WWE Champion is the face of the company, leading it to a new era. He is a top babyface and has had a major push since his return to the Stamford-based company in 2022.
Given how popular he is, especially after his storyline with Roman Reigns, where he finished his story and became the world champion, we can't see how he will not main event WrestleMania in London.
#2. CM Punk
After nearly 10 years, he returned to WWE in 2023 and has no desire to leave again. He is one of the top wrestlers in the company, and the creative team has many storylines for him.
At the moment, he has a mega-feud with Drew McIntyre, and it appears his next opponent will be Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41. In London, he could collide with Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, or any other megastar.
#1. Roman Reigns
The Tribal Chief is expected to return at SummerSlam after a four-month hiatus. His 1,316-day reign as the Universal Champion cemented him as one of the best of all time in the company.
He is a big-time player for the company and will undoubtedly be among the frontrunners to the main event, WrestleMania in London, whenever it occurs. Roman Reigns main evented both nights of WrestleMania 40 in early April.
